1 | 1 minutes |
Requirements#
- 5 oz ground beef (80/20 blend)
- some salt
- 1 tbsp nacho cheese sauce
- 1 slice (the sharper the better) cheddar cheese
- 0.8 tbsp garlic paste
- 0.4 tbsp melted unsalted butter
- 1 hamburger bun
- some Donkey Sauce
- 3 slices of kosher dill pickle
- 1 crispy onion ring
- 1 tbsp Guy Fieri Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce
- 0.5 oz thinly-sliced sweet onion
- 1 thin slice beefsteak tomato
- 1.5 oz finely-shaved iceberg lettuce
- 1 cast iron pan
Instructions#
Step 1#
Heat a flat-top grill or cast iron pan over very high heat. Form the ground beef (80/20 blend) into a tight ball and season with salt. Place hamburger ball on grill to sear for 45 seconds, then flatten with a heavy spatula to about ⅓ inch thickness.
Step 2#
Cook for 90 seconds to develop a crust on the first side of the bottom. Flip over and cook on the second side for 1 minute to develop another crust. Add nacho cheese sauce to the top of the hamburger and top the cheese sauce with (the sharper the better) cheddar cheese.
Step 3#
Combine the garlic paste and melted unsalted butter. Brush the inside of hamburger bun halves with the mixture and toast on the grill or pan for 4 seconds, until golden and crisp. Flip and toast for 4 seconds so the outsides are also lightly toasted.
Step 4#
Smear Donkey Sauce on the sliced side of both bun halves.
Step 5#
Layer the base with slices of kosher dill pickle and the burger patty.
Note
Make the slices paper-thin
Step 6#
Top burger with crispy onion ring, Guy Fieri Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce, thinly-sliced sweet onion, thin slice beefsteak tomato and finely-shaved iceberg lettuce.
Step 7#
Place the top half of the bun on top.
